Background:
- Born and raised in "Nu Yawk Sidy" (New York City). Moved to "Lawn Guy Lind" (Long Island) while in junior high school. Left the New York area in 1988 and moved to Pennsylvania.

Educational Background:
- College - State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook. Major: Biochemistry. Awarded: Dean's List, Phi Beta Kappa. (Phi Beta Kappa is the national honor society for college.)

- Dental School - SUNY at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine. Awarded: Dean's List, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. (Omicron Kappa Upsilon is the national honor society for dental schools.)

- General Practice Residency - Based out of the Northport VA Hospital, with orthodontics and children's dentistry at Long Island Jewish Hospital and in-house emergency call at Stony Brook University Hospital.

Current Education:
- Dr. Ranzino is in good standing with the AGD (Academy of General Dentistry) and is involved with an outstanding continuing education program through the Pennsylvania AGD called "PEAK". Notwithstanding, Dr. Ranzino also enrolls in other courses, outside the "PEAK" plan, throughout the year, so that he can remain current in all aspects of dentistry.
